Mode Israel LA, Project of Israeli Consulate General, to Show at Downtown LA Fashion Week

Details continue to trickle in for next month's assorted Fashion Week (er, Month) events. Today brought the tentative lineup for Mode Israel LA, a showcase of designers organized in conjunction with the Consulate General of Israel that is scheduled as part of Downtown Los Angeles Fashion Week at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA at 8.p. Oct. 14.

 So far the list includes Alembika, Bracha Baron, Kedem Sasson, Keren Naftali, Sugar Daddy and Yosef Peretz. The event will also include presentations by design graduates of the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design (described in press materials as "the future stars of Israeli fashion"), and a special musical performance by Israeli electro pop dance band Terry Poison (I've never heard of them, but the Jerusalem Post calls them "the Jewish Charlie's Angels").
