I love New York's Fashion Week, but it has become so "Hollywood" lately that it has become actually boring. I want to see the clothes and I do not care which Hollywood starlet is there attending the shows and this element has certainly taken away from the allure of attending a fashion show. That's why we have Los Angeles Fashion Week, so everyone can go there and gawk over them. Everyone is vying for top billing that it's laughable, I prefer to see the none celebrities more than I do them.
I found several looks that I can copy from the London shows and the Milan shows, but the Parisian shows are what I'm patiently waiting to see and which designer will knock a few home runs out of the ballpark. Even some of the magazine editors seemed to be going through the motions of the previous fashion-weeks by writing unenthusiastic reviews and such.
Now on to another tidbit about the upcoming Fashion Week. Gotta love that Kimorra Lee Simmons with being the first designer to show her Baby Phat collection to the masses at Times Square in New York during NYFW. Now here comes Alexander McQueen doing another first by streaming his runway show live via the Internet from his website on 6 October 09. I follow McQ on Twitter and was pleasantly surprised when he sent out a tweet stating this.
With the most of the worlds economy's being the way they are now, many designers are using ingenious ways to get their products out to their customers and making most of their clothing more affordable to everyone by offering many products at various price points and through different collaborations."

Linsay Lohan and Ungaro's new head designer, Estrella Archs

Isha and Asim Abdullah, the owners of de la maison de couture Emanuel Ungaro.
San Francisco based financier, Asim Abdullah head of Global Asset Capital Investment Bank is the owner of Ungaro and maybe, just maybe he's taking a gamble on this to see how this will pay out. His wife, Isha is also a very stylish and fashionable woman, so we know she's also giving advice about what the customer may like and I'm sure the majority of the designs she has been wearing lately to many of the San Francisco social events they've been attending are probably Ungaro. I do hope that Mr. Abdullah does not believe that only a celebrity will give the brand the appeal that it so greatly needs. Ungaro is an established brand in Europe and I'm sure many of their loyal customers don't want to see it go the route of the teeny bopper, but to have a mix of offerings that will appeal to all generations of women.
Celebrities are cool to a certain extent and there are a lot of women who think like me and easily tire of them and do not like the idea of youth being forced down our throats, so to speak. We want to look good, but all of us are not trying to go back twenty and thirty years ago by attempting to make 40, 50 and beyond, the new twenty. Will the collaboration between the two of them be a success? We'll just have to wait a few more days to see. I'm sure they'll be many winning looks in the collection, but the critics will give it bad reviews based upon Linsay Lohan being a part of the label and nothing else.
So, as the world's leaders in fashion descend upon Paris for the highly anticipated showcasing of the 2010 spring/summer season, many of us are quite capable of making our own suggestings about what is wearable and what is not. I don't need anyone to tell my purse what's in and what's not and feel that I have to go out and buy something that's already been created from previous seasons. I just want to see the clothes and dream."

Wonder how long it will be before she ends up in an aciidtdon center again? Lindsay was recently fired from Ungaro, has no upcoming film roles, and seems to be boozing it up again. Her reputation as
