People always dream about their name on a star in Hollywood but the star you should really aim for are those lining Rodeo Drive. Last Thursday, Beverly Hills Mayor Nancy Krasne along with the rest of the Rodeo Committee awarded this years Star to Princess Grace Kelly and French Jeweler Cartier.

Demi Moore presented His Serene Highness Prince Albert II the award on behalf of his mother. The evening raised over $150,000 for the Princess Grace Foundation and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.
The Director of Image & Heritage Pierre Rainero excepted the award for Cartier, the only jeweler to be awarded the honor. Both are in the company of Fashion Greats such as Giorgio Armani, Tom Ford, Valentino Garavani and Manolo Blahnic.

Cartier held an opening reception where guest sipped Cartier's own Red bottled Champaign, and celebs Angie Harmon, Camilla Belle, and Debra Messing all tried on some shiny blinged out jewels. I spotted Kenny G, Gabrielle Union, Cameron Silver, Jenna Elfman, Women Wear Daily Editor Anne Riley, Apparel News Editor Jayne Seward, Armani VP Wanda McDaniel along with many others mixing and mingling and at the end of the night walking away with little red gift bags. I guess that saying, "All that glitters isn't gold" is sorta true.
