LA FASHION WEEK'S web designer, Kevin Lee-- has announced the launch of his newest project, ‘The Sipper.” The Sipper is a handsome leather drink accessory for coffee and tea cups, designed and manufactured in the USA. A handsome saddle for hot beverages, The Sipper keeps your drink warm, looks elegant, and encourages the slow art of sipping, for maximum enjoyment, relaxation and conversation. Kevin has partnered with a reputable leather factory to ensure timely production, and too keep quality consistent. The leather used is 100% natural veg tanned leather. Not dyed or oiled, the leather will age will age to a rich color over time, and coffee and tea stains will only add to the patina luster. It fits almost all To-Go cups available in cafes everywhere, and the inside circumference at the top measures 9”. The edges are hand painted a dark brown to seal the edge and provide contrast. The Sipper ships in a simple muslin tool pouch, and Kevin is very proud that all manufacturing is done in the USA.

Kickstarter campaigns operate under an “all-or-nothing” funding model. In order to be funded, The Sipper campaign must reach its goal of $5,000 in funding by December 20th, 2012 at 6:34 EST. All pledges will help the project come to life, and may be a low as $10. Pledges of $30 or more receive a complimentary Sipper. Pledges of $40 or more will receive a Sipper, with the backer’s initials stamped into the leather. Pledges of $54 or more will receive two Sippers. Pledges of $70 or more will receive a stamped pair of Sippers.
